We are running the campaign 67 minutes to make a difference in the community, by doing an operation clean-up in the Blomvlei area on the 18 July 2017.
We appeal to any other organisations that would love to assist to do so - every little bit helps impact the greater community.
Individual volunteers are welcome, as well as volunteers from any organisation, company and business!
Please volunteer to help us with our 12th Royal Banquet event in aid of women.
We have approximately 300 women attending this banquet. Each woman will receive lunch and goodie bags as we celebrate them.
At the banquet, there will be a speaker, dancers, singers, spot prices - its a woooooow day for women!
The event was created to empower women - to let them know who they are and the way forward for them.
We please need 30 volunteers between the ages of 15 to 25 years old.
Reading is the key to learning. Unlock the door this Mandela Day. Nelson Mandela said that, “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.”
These words resonate strongly with the Learning in Reach team. In honour of Mandela and his vision, we will be putting a book into the hands of every child attending each of the four primary schools and every child at an ECD centre in Lavender Hill, bringing reading into the home. Some of these children have never owned a book before. Let’s unlock the child’s true potential and give each individual a chance to shine.
6700 books will be distributed to Lavender Hill 0-13 year olds. We invite your company to take part in our Mandela Day Challenge. Let us arrange a book wrapping event at your office for your employees to get involved for #67minutes.
Learning in Reach will either deliver pledged books to your office ahead of time (<100 staff) or set up a pop up shop in your foyer (>100 staff) on Mandela Day.
Spend 67 minutes: Your employees will select an age-appropriate book for a child, write a letter of motivation/kindness to the child and place it inside the book. They will then wrap the book to gift to a child in Lavender Hill.
Donate R67: Learning In Reach request that your employees each donate a minimum of R67 per book to take part in this event
Invest R67: We ask that the company consider matching the employee’s R67 donation.
Your #67 minutes and R67 will make a significant and lasting impact in this community through literacy, early childhood development and parent and teacher training.

CEEP has a number of painting projects that need to be done at a number of NGO in the JHB area.
Our painting projects are coordinated by a volunteer coordinator, who makes sure that the project is professionally done, so that the NGO is left with an area they can be proud to use going forward.
We encourage groups of friend, students or people having birthday parties or special events to join us in giving back to the community. In order to cover costs, please could you contribute R150 for the team. We are able to issue a section 18A's for donations received.
